A Master Practioner uses Reiki treatments to restore, balance, and align the chakra system through energy. A chakra is basically the energy centers along the spine associated with the human energy system. A chakra is responsible for the flow in and out of the spinal column. When a chakra is not in balance that energy flow is disrupted resulting in illness or disease. Balancing the chakra system allows for the body to then heal itself, and thus energy flow is restored.
